Manyara: Timu ya Dabusi imetwaa ubingwa wa mashindano ya Gidabuday Cup kwa kuichapa Nangwa kwa mabao 3-2 katika fainali iliyochezwa kwenye Uwanja wa Nangwa VTC Wilayani Hanang’. Katika mchezo huo mabao ya Dabusi yakifungwa na Yasini Zuberi kwa mkwaju wa penalti, huku bao la pili alijifunga beki wa Nangwa, Jackson Jolwa kabla ya Deograsia John kumalizia bao la tatu. Wakati mabao ya Nangwa yalifungwa na Nathan Matembo kwa mkwaju wa penalti na Gift Oscar. Budapest hits 180 days-to-go mark until start of 2023 World Athletics Championships

More than 100,000 tickets have been sold for the Budapest 2023 World Athletics Championships, with the event now just 180 days away, it was revealed today. Hungarian Government Commissioner for the World Championships Ádám Schmidt was encouraged by the interest for the competition, with the 50,000 ticket sale mark coming in early December. "It is a great success and a good indication of the high expectations for the World Athletics Championships that in just over a month, many more people have registered to volunteer than will actually be able to participate," he said. "Volunteers are key, they will have a huge responsibility and much of the honour will be theirs, because they will also be the ones to thank if our dreams come true and make this the best World Athletics Championships ever." A total of 3,500 people have registered to be volunteers, surpassing the figure needed. Over 2,000 athletes are expected to compete at the Championships, a year after Or
