Gidabuday Places Third Overall in 5000 meter run
T&F | Gidabuday Records Fastest NCAA DII Time In 5000 Meter Run At Husky Classic SEATTLE (February 12, 2016) – With a time of 13:44.31, Sydney Gidabuday ran to a third place finish in the 5000 meter run on Day One of the Husky Classic. Gidabuday's remarkable time now ranks first in the nation and serves as an automatic qualifying mark. He holds a 13-second edge over the second fastest time amongst all competitors at the NCAA Division II level. Shockingly enough, it served as Gidabuday's first-ever 5000 meter appearance during his ASU career. The freshman now holds the nation's top time in both the 3000 meter run and 5000 meter run. Also competing in the men's 5000 meter run were Dominic Cabada , Brian Glassey , Sean Fontana , Lucio Ramirez , and Jackson Sayler .
