Restituta Joseph

Restituta Joseph Kemi was born on July 30th 1971 in Singida Tanzania, she is one of long-distance famous women runners in Tanzania. 

She twice carried the flag for Tanzania at the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in 2000 Sydney Australia and 2004 Athens Greece. 

Restituta was recognized on many international events including the following:

- 1997 and 1999 winner of the Corrida de Langueux race

- 1998 World Cross Country Championships Marrakech, Morocco 5th place                     

- 1999 World Cross Country Championships Belfast, United Kingdom  5th place

- 2000 World Cross Country Championships Budapest, Hungary 22nd                     

- 2001 World Cross Country Championships Ostend, Belgium 13th

- 2002 Half Marathon Africa Military Games     Nairobi, Kenya 2nd
