ZAKAYO MALEKWA: The "Javelin Master" who converted to Spiritual Commitments

 

Zakayo Malekwa's Table of Medals that include All African Games and 1982 Commonwealth Games 

Zakayo Malekwa (born on February 2, 1951) is a retired track and field athlete from Manyara Tanzania; he competed in the men's javelin throw event during his career.

He represented Tanzania at three consecutive Summer Olympics; starting in 1980 Moscow where he set his best Olympic result by finishing in 16th place in the overall-rankings. He continued with 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Olympics.
