Future tennis champions are training to discover their god given talents at TTCL courts A new tennis academy has been established at Kijitonyama in Kinondoni with the aim of improving the sport from grassroots level. The academy, known as Kijitonyama Tennis Academy, will use the courts available at the former Postal College along Bagamoyo Road in Kinondoni. In an interview yesterday, head coach of the academy Musa Haruna said currently 50 young players are training at the academy, saying the aim is to see more young players playing the game. He named the academy coaches as Ismail Saidi, Francis Simon, Rabbi Hassani, Hassani Kassimu and himself. “The academy was formed after noting that there are many youngsters who are interested in playing the game of tennis, but they don’t have a proper place to train.
